Listed below are a small selection of the many venues in which we have worked, some of the most breath taking and fascinating buildings in the City of York. We are more than happy to work in any venue, just ask about our requirements for a safe and happy event.

The Hospitium
The Hospitium is a picturesque 14th century listed building overlooking the Yorkshire Museum and Museum Gardens. The venue is set over two floors, giving the flexibility of providing an ideal space for a whole host of functions, from weddings/wedding receptions and conference dinners, to family celebrations or office parties.
We can host seated banquets for up to 135 guests and drinks/buffet receptions for up to 200 guests. The ground floor is a versatile setting for drinks receptions, exhibition space and offers an informal seating area for guests, whilst the first floor is perfect for the seated banquets

Merchant Adventurers Hall
The Medieval Hall of the Company of Merchant Adventurers was built between 1357-1361 and is the finest building of its date and type in Europe. It provides a distinctive yet entirely practical setting for banquets, weddings, dinners, luncheons and exhibitions.
The principal room on the first floor is called the Great Hall and the large room beneath it on the ground floor is called the Undercroft. They each have ample space and can accommodate 180 guests.
There are two other rooms, which may be used in conjunction with the larger rooms or as exclusive settings for small parties. The variety of rooms therefore makes the Hall very suitable for a wide range of functions.

Merchant Taylors Hall
A medieval gem in the heart of the City of York, built in the fifteenth century and beautifully preserved. An ancient oak roof covers the Main Hall and adjacent is the panelled Small Hall. Unique stained glass, pictures and architecture abound.
A magnificent venue in York for weddings, private dinners and events, concerts, banquets, meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
Nestled in its own grounds which sit alongside the ancient walls of the City of York, the Merchant Taylors’ Hall is one of the most significant medieval buildings in this architecturally rich city and has been a place to congregate, feast, make music and make merry for more than 600 years.

York Castle Museum
York Castle Museum provides a charming venue for evening events. It is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies and can host banquets, parties and other celebrations.
A site visit is highly recommended to appreciate the delights of the setting and discuss the details of your event.
Your wedding or civil ceremony at York Castle Museum will be truly unique. You and your guests will be surrounded by the magical Kirkgate, a beautiful cobbled street of authentic Victorian shop fronts packed with historic goods.
Kirkgate can host seated banquets for up to 70 guests with the tables arranged on the main street. Alternatively, we can host buffet receptions for larger numbers.

The Chapter House, York Minster
The Chapter House was added to the Minster in the 13th century and was used for parliament by Edward I and II, it remains in use as a meeting place of the College of Canons today.
The walls of the octagonal room contain some of the Minster's finest carvings, dating from 1270. The shape and beauty of the Chapter House makes it the ideal setting for dinners up to 130 and receptions up to 250 for those events where you really want to impress your guests

National Centre for Early Music
The versatile space offered at the National Centre for Early Music makes it an excellent choice of venue for conferences, meetings, product launches, functions and events. The Centre, housed within the Grade I listed medieval church of St. Margaret's, combines an elegant, historic building with cutting edge technology, creating an unparalleled setting.

Bedern Hall
Bedern Hall is the perfect place for your wedding in York, the medieval setting with soaring beamed ceiling, arched windows and warm stone walls, guarantees you and your guests can experience age-old charm in modern times. Accommodating 75 people for your ceremony and drinks reception and 60 people for your wedding breakfast in our incredible 14th century medieval hall. The pretty courtyard and garden terrace provide the perfect setting for photographs.
